ASC Green Chile Pasta
Featuring Austin Spice Company's Green Chile Salsa

2 tbs butter (or margarine)
2 tbs flour
1/2 cup cream or milk
1 1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup finely shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup ASC Green Chile Salsa
Cooked pasta of choice (we like farfalle or ziti)

Melt butter over medium heat.
Sprinkle flour over butter and stir into a smooth paste. Heat until bubbly.
Add cream and stir over low heat until bubbly.
Add chicken broth, stirring over low heat until bubbly and thickened.
Stir in Green Chile Salsa, then remove from heat.
Stir in Parmesan cheese.

Toss pasta in sauce and serve with extra Parmesan.

Special serving idea: At one guest chef appearance, we added grilled salmon to the sauce and pasta
mixture - and received rave reviews!
